When you join a session, simply join the breakout room that corresponds to the course you are working on. If you are unsure which breakout room to choose, take a look at the Breakout Rooms. Teachers will be circulating the breakout rooms and will answer your questions.
You can join anytime within the 4-hour block, and you can leave and come back as often as you please within the 4-hour timeframe. There will be quiet breakout rooms called "study rooms" where you can go to simply work on your own for a while until you have another question, at which time you can join the appropriate breakout room to ask another question.
You are strongly encouraged to email your questions to canknowinc@gmail.com at least 12 hours before the session you are planning to attend. It may be easier to take a picture or scan you questions than to write your question on a shared whiteboard during the session. If we receive your questions in advance, a teacher can come and find you when you join and help you out as soon as possible, making your session more efficient and fruitful.
If you are working on group projects, you may find it beneficial for all members of your group to register for the same session. You can then work online with your group and get help from a teacher whenever you need it. There are Breakout Rooms called Project Rooms designed for this purpose.
