About Us
Founded in 2016, The Canadian Knowledge Institute, CanKnow for short, is focused on providing curriculum based support for secondary school, college and university students.
Vision
At the Canadian Knowledge Institute, we really do believe that we can know anything. “Anything” may sound a little broad… We are not in the business of searching for eternal truths, but we do trust in the human spirit of discovery and we believe that many, perhaps most, unknowns are still to be revealed through solid research and development across the globe.
We also strongly believe that whatever knowledge already exists can be imparted to anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of it. And therein lies our first core belief: that anyone who honestly and actively wants to learn something can be enabled to do so. To this end, the Canadian Knowledge Institute offers education, courses and customized training for a broad range of people on a wide variety of topics at affordable prices.
At its heart, though, CanKnow optimistically envisions the world as a global village, built on a culture of diversity, inclusion and pride, and sustained and bettered through technology, collaboration and innovation. Our second core belief is that the key to such a future is shared, verified, accessible knowledge.
Our vision, then, is to provide timely, quality knowledge, education and services when and where required as we all strive together to find answers to the complex challenges facing the world today.
Meet the Team
Moneesha Mehta, MSc (Math), BEd, BSc(Math), is a mathematician and educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, course and curriculum design, and corporate training. She started the Canadian Knowledge Institute (CanKnow) in 2016 because she believes that we CanKnow anything we put our mind to! CanKnow offers tutoring and homework help in most academic subjects. Moneesha loves square dancing, singing in the Etobicoke Centennial Choir, and reading Jane Austen and

Janki Hariyani, B.ED (Math and Science), is a certified high-school Mathematics and Science educator with over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience in India and Canada. She is passionate about facilitating conceptual understanding of Mathematics and supporting students in reaching their learning goals. Apart from teaching, Janki enjoys jigsaw puzzles and reading.
